I am building Reflection, the American frontier open intelligence lab.
I previously founded Zoba, an AI-powered optimization company, which I led from 2016 through acquisition in 2024. Zoba developed AI products that optimized transportation and logistics operations in over 300 cities across more than a dozen countries, helping make those cities more livable and efficient (this captured it well). I started my first business at 15 growing up in the Texas Hill Country.
I admire entrepreneurs and try to help them when I can—always as a fellow traveler, and sometimes as a small investor. I do my best thinking running, fishing in the surf, and taking photos (some favorites here).
